Whale Watching in El Doradillo

Once we have collected you from your hotel in Puerto Madryn we will head directly to the El Doradillo Nature Reserve, only a thirty-minute drive outside the city.

From the coast of El Doradillo, we will observe the magnificent Southern right whale swimming through the ocean waters. This area of the southern Atlantic offers the unique opportunity to see these magnificent marine mammals from as close as just 25 meters. At this distance, you will even hear these sea giants breathing!

El Doradillo is located in the Golfo Nuevo bay, the ocean gateway to Valdes Peninsula, an area of rich ecological diversity with a wide variety of wildlife, particularly whales and dolphins. While admiring the magnitude of these colossal creatures we will also learn some fascinating facts about how they feed and reproduce.

We conclude the trip with a brief but entertaining guided tour of Puerto Madryn before returning to your hotel in the city center.
