Nos costó un poco encontrar el punto de reunión, habia muchísima gente. A pesar del contratiempo con el guía que nos tocaba, nos reubicaron en otro grupo y la experiencia fue genial. Maria es una guia maravillosa, lo explica todo con mucho entusiasmo. La entrada al castillo es algo elevada, pero como puedes quedarte después de la guía el tiempo que desees, vale la pena. It was a little difficult to find the meeting point; there were so many people. Despite the setback with our assigned guide, they reassigned us to another group, and the experience was fantastic. Hubo un poco de descontrol a la hora de empezar el tour. Había mucha gente y nos mandaron a esperar a la acera de enfrente. En un determinado momento apareció un guía de otra agencia diciendo que nos íbamos con el; tuve que cruzar la acera y preguntar a los guías originales (los del paraguas negro) que qué pasaba. Me dijeron que sí, que era una agencia que colaboraba con ellos. Supongo estarían sobrepasados y cedieron clientes. Pero al menos podían avisar. El castillo bien sin más.

There was a bit of chaos when starting the tour. There were a lot of people, and we were told to wait on the opposite sidewalk. At one point, a guide from another agency appeared saying we were going with him; I had to cross the sidewalk and ask the original guides (the ones with the black umbrella) what was going on. They told me that yes, it was an agency that collaborated with them. I suppose they were overwhelmed and gave up clients. But at least they could have warned us. The castle was okay, nothing special.

La actividad fue realizada el día 3 de agosto, pensábamos que siendo una visita guiada por el castillo,nos iban a explicar y adentrar en las salas del castillo y todas sus estancias, explicando os lo que era cada cosa, y no fue así.Nos llevaron hacia el castillo y por el camino nos iban contando de historia, haciendo referencia a películas del cine y demás.Una vez allí, estuvimos fuera en varias zonas del exterior.No es nuestra idea de visita guiada por el castillo, con la entrada incluida.

The activity took place on August 3rd. We thought that being a guided tour of the castle, they would explain and take us into the rooms of the castle and all its chambers, explaining what each thing was, but that was not the case. El guía, a mí parecer, a pasado demasiado tiempo hablándonos de la historia de Escocia. Hemos escuchado prácticamente lo mismo en las excursiones de las tierras altas y en la de S. Andrews. Me hubiera gustado más que ese tiempo explicará más cosas sobre el castillo.

No nos quedó otra opción, ya que las entradas normales estaban agotadas. Y contratar la excursión fue la única opción que encontramos de rescate para entrar al castillo, el precio se va al doble de caro 50€ por adulto, excesivo para una visita a la ciudadela del castillo, ya que los guías no tienen permitido entrar a las estancias del castillo. Fue mucho mas bonito el castillo de stirling. La guia muy maja.

Booking the tour was the only way we could get into the castle, but the price was double that at €50 per adult, excessive for a visit to the castle citadel, since the guides aren't allowed inside the castle itself. Stirling Castle was much more beautiful. The guide was very nice.
