Transfer from Barcelona + Chauffeur
If you have a few days to spare in the Catalan capital, you can enjoy different private day trips from the City of Counts. For these chauffeur-driven trips from Barcelona, we'll pick you up at your hotel and travel comfortably to your chosen destination.
All transfers include an English-speaking chauffeur whose sole role is driving. Please note that an official tour guide is not included; once you arrive at your destination, you are free to explore at your own pace.
The chauffeur service does not include admission tickets or meals; these are at your own expense. Below, we outline the details for each of the available routes:
Tarragona Day Trip (6 Hours)
Located just 1.5 hours from the Catalan Capital, Tarragona is one of 15 Spanish cities designated as a World Heritage Site.
In this city, you can explore the spectacular Roman Amphitheatre of Tarraco, located right by the sea. Other highlights include the picturesque medieval cathedral and the Balcón del Mediterráneo, the city’s most beautiful viewpoint.
If you wish, we can also take you to the outskirts of Tarragona to visit the Ferreres Aqueduct, a Roman-era structure known as the Pont del Diable, "Devil's Bridge."
Blanes Day Trip (6 Hours)
After picking you up at your hotel in Barcelona, we'll take a short, 1-hour drive to Blanes, one of the most beautiful destinations on the Costa Brava.
Once there, we recommend visiting the Botanical Garden Marimurtra, a spectacular park perched atop dramatic cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. You also shouldn’t miss the town’s two most important monuments: the Iglesia parroquial de Santa María de Blanes and the Castell de Sant Joan.
Girona Day Trip (7 Hours)
Girona—one of the most beautiful cities in Catalonia—is just 1.5 hours away from Barcelona.
Its most iconic landmark is the cathedral; you might recognize its grand staircase if you are a fan of the show Game of Thrones. The Call, or Jewish Quarter, is also well worth a visit.
Other must-see spots include the bridges over the Onyar River, the Arab Baths, and the Collegiate Church of St. Felix.
Costa Brava Day Trip (7 Hours)
On this tour of the Costa Brava, the coastline of the province of Girona, you'll discover its finest beaches. We'll begin at Platja de Sant Pol, which has been awarded a Blue Flag. The route continues to the beaches of Fenals and Canyelles, both perfect for sunbathing.
Further along lies Cala Futadera, a hidden gem popularly known as the "cove of the 300 steps." Surrounded by striking cliffs and lush vegetation, it's an ideal spot for swimming and soaking up the sun. You can also explore other beautiful coastal spots, such as the beaches of El Golfet and Tamariu, or Cala Pedrosa.
Figueras Day Trip (8 Hours)
If you're passionate about art, this private day trip is perfect for you. We'll depart from your hotel in Barcelona and arrive in Figueres in just 1.5 hours. Once there, you can explore the Dalí Theatre and Museum, dedicated to one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, at your own pace.
Also worth visiting are the Sant Ferran Castle and the Església de Sant Pere de Figueres, where Dalí was baptized.
Montserrat Day Trip (8 Hours)
Leaving the city of Barcelona behind, we'll arrive in just 1 hour at the Montserrat sanctuary. Inside its basilica, you can admire the statue of La Moreneta, a Virgin Mary highly venerated by the local population.
Don't miss the Benedictine monastery of Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, the museum, and the Sant Miquel viewpoint, which offers one of the best vantage points for taking in the mountain and the monastery.
From Montserrat, we'll continue our journey toward the wine-producing region of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, where you'll have the opportunity to sample its renowned wines at your own leisure.
Andorra & France Day Trip (12 Hours)
Departing from Barcelona, we'll travel for 1.5 hours to reach Bagà, a charming town located in the northernmost part of the province of Barcelona. You'll have time to explore its picturesque streets at your own pace before we continue our route toward Mont-Louis, a beautiful village in the French Pyrenees. There, you can visit the Vauban Citadel, a designated World Heritage Site.
Our next stop will be Andorra la Vella, the capital of one of Europe’s smallest countries. After enjoying its charm, we'll head back into French territory to experience the appeal of the town of Ax-les-Thermes.
